A Delaware County man has been accused of killing his pregnant wife and stabbing two children in the family's home in Masonville, according to New York State Police. The woman - 29-year-old Samantha J. Garnier - died from her injuries.

Her husband Drew J. Garnier, 32, was charged with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder, all felonies, in connection with the altercation, troopers said. The triple stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute inside a Houck Road residence Wednesday night.

Troopers and Delaware County sheriff's deputies found Samantha Garnier inside the home around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and rendered medical aid. She was flown to Wilson Medical Center in Binghamton then transferred to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, where she died, according to State Police.

The two children were taken to Upstate Medical Center for treatment and are expected to survive, troopers said. Police did not further describe the nature of the children's injuries or disclose further details about the children - including age and gender.

Drew Garnier was apprehended at the scene, was evaluated at an area hospital before he was arraigned at the Delaware Correctional Facility, troopers said. He was remanded to the Delaware County jail without bail.

Troopers are planning to share more on the situation at a news conference on Friday.

Masonville is in western Delaware County, located in the Catskills in New York.
