Josh Allen made a superhuman play on a hurdling touchdown run. But he's not completely immortal.

Allen suffered a hand-injury as he leaped a defender and toppled into the end zone to extend the Buffalo Bills' lead over the Arizona Cardinals in their 34-28 victory on Sunday.

The CBS broadcast showed Allen being tended to by athletic trainers and receiving tape on his hand and wrist on the sideline after the 6-yard score. Allen was injured by his own rocket arm, not an Cardinals defender, as his right elbow landed on his left hand when he tumbled to the ground.

Backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky warmed up on the sideline but never entered the game. Sideline reporter Tiffany Blackmon confirmed Allen injured his left, non-throwing hand.

Allen didn't miss any time or shy away from contact. He scrambled for 9 yards on his first snap after the injury.

"I'm fine," Allen told reporters after the game when asked about a diagnosis. "I'm not a doctor, I just kind of landed on it."

Allen, who finished with four total touchdowns on two passing and two receiving, said he'd likely undergo X-rays and additional testing.

"Always concern (for injuries). I'll know more in the next couple of hours," Bills head coach Sean McDermott said.

The Bills are on a short week and travel to play the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
