Steve Hawley is running unopposed for State Assembly 139th District.

Position sought: Re-election, State Assembly 139th District.

Political party: Republican

Age (at time of election): 77

Residence: Batavia

Elected offices: Current Assembly position.

Professional experience: Ohio Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves. Former owner and operator of Hawley Farms, and former owner of Stephen M. Hawley & Assoc., LLC, a property/casualty insurance agency, for over 35 years.

Issues of importance: Public safety measures, including repeal of bail reform laws; issues of importance to veterans; business and residential affordability. He says New Yorkers are overburdened by "too many taxes, fees and mandates."
