The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins won their openers but didn't escape potential home upsets completely unscathed.

Buffalo had an injury scare when quarterback Josh Allen landed on his left hand while tumbling into the end zone for a touchdown in the 34-28 victory over the Arizona Cardinals . The Bills lost starting nickel back Taron Johnson in the first quarter.

Miami cornerback Jalen Ramsey, the newly-minted highest-paid cornerback in the NFL , has been hampered by a hamstring injury but played in Week 1. Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane, the Dolphins' top two running backs, were banged up in the win against the Jacksonville Jaguars . Mostert has been ruled out against the Bills while Achane is questionable.

It's a short week for the AFC East rivals. Buffalo travels to Miami at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday Night Football.

The teams did not practice Monday and held walk-throughs on Tuesday, so practice designations are team estimates. NFL teams have to submit a report on practice participation on Wednesday.

Here is the Bills vs. Dolphins injury report for Week 2:
