Move over, "Shout," and sit down, “Renegade,” — Buffalo Bills fans have a new song.

Video of Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox and Spencer Brown singing "Mr. Brightside" with the rest of the stadium has gone viral since Monday night's game. Joining the trio on air guitar was WR Mack Hollins.

Joining in the happy moment at various points were Connor McGovern, James Cook, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Josh Allen and Mack Hollis on air guitar.

News 8 WROC sports reporter AJ Feldman posted the video on his X account Tuesday. It’s racked up more than 2.5 million views as of midday Thursday.

The infectious video sparked big love for the Bills and their special bond with Bills Mafia.

“VIBES IN BUFFALO ARE IMMACULATE THIS YEAR,” posted MLFootball.

The video was even noticed out West by Deseret News, which said Kincaid, a former University of Utah football star, was clearly enjoying himself.

How did the Jacksonville Jaguars react?

Kevin Massare seemingly answered that question when he tweeted this closeup. They say a photo is worth a thousand words.

    What is 'Mr. Brightside'

"Mr. Brightside" is by the Las Vegas band, The Killers. It's been around for nearly 21 years (released Sept. 29, 2003), and has gone from being just a hit song — it peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (U.S.) in June 2005 — to a rock anthem.

"Mr Brightside really is the anthem of an entire generation," tweeted Bills Mafia member @CookieDahmer.

That echoes what Jessica Goldstein wrote for the New York Times after 'Mr. Brightside' turned 20 in 2023.

"If boomers gave the masses “Don’t Stop Believin’,” millennials can claim “Mr. Brightside” as the generation’s official entry into that canon: a song that gets everybody at the bar shout-singing along, " she wrote.

It's odd that a song about a man anguishing over a cheating partner would become an anthem for eternally optimistic sports fans. Still, somehow it has.

"It has grown into an all-purpose, inescapable rallying cry: a karaoke staple, a football tradition, a party playlist must-have, a meme," Goldstein wrote.

'Mr. Brightside' is a global hit

It's enduring popularity isn't just an American thing. It's even bigger in the U.K.

With a total of 416 weeks — and counting — on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, “Mr Brightside” has the longest stay on the singles survey by a group and the most cumulative weeks on the U.K. tally for one song, according to Billboard. Plus, it was crowned the biggest-ever single in the U.K. that had never gone to No. 1.

    'Mr. Brightside' excites crowds

Sports teams have been using music to drive fans to a frenzy for decades. Just think of how many times you've heard the opening riff of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" at a game.

But like the Bills fight song, 'Shout," or the Boston Red Sox's "Sweet Caroline," "Mr. Brightside" gets fans singing like they just don't care.

"Mr. Brightside" at University of Michigan football games is electrifying.

The Bills have had some practice with 'Mr. Brightside'

Monday night wasn't the Bills first gig as a cover band for "Mr, Brightside."

Dawkins and Allen were caught on video singing the song at Knox's wedding in Nashville, Tennessee, in late June.

The time the Bills stole ‘Renegade’ in Pittsburgh

Monday night was the latest sonic moment the Bills and Bills Mafia have had on social media.

The Bills were playing in Pittsburgh in Week 15 of the 2019 season when the stadium tried to pump up Steelers fans with Styx’s “Renegade.”

But Bills players and fans hijacked the song on their way to beating the Steelers 17-10 and cinching a playoff berth.

It arguably led to backup quarterback Matt Barkley’s greatest moment as a Bills player.

It's a great song, but it's not really a song for a stadium to get pumped up for. It's a song about a guy that gets cheated on by his girl. Quite a depressing song lyrically.I love the song, but it's not an anthem in any way whatsoever.
