Curtis Samuel has had a rough start to his Buffalo Bills career.

The eight-year veteran injured his shoulder in the first quarter of the Bills game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Josh Allen's pass intended for Samuel was tipped at the line of scrimmage in the first quarter. Samuel made it to the sideline but went down on a knee and was looked at by medical trainers before going into the medical tent.

Samuel headed to the locker room with a trainer with less than six minutes left in the second quarter.

Samuel was officially questionable to return but did not return.

Samuel has 12 catches for 92 yards and three carries for 6 yards for the Bills this year.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott did not have an update on Samuel after the game.
