    Thomas Melton Culpepper III

    Thomas Melton Culpepper III, age 93, of Demopolis died June 20, 2024 at his home. He was born October 20, 1930 in Demopolis to Thomas Melton Culpepper Jr. and Sue Walters Culpepper.  He was a graduate of Demopolis High School and The University of Alabama. He was  a veteran, a former second lieutenant of the U.S. Army, and was the owner and manager of Culpepper Electric Company in Demopolis for the past 60 plus years.

    He is survived by his son, Thomas Melton Culpepper IV (Gayla); daughter, Rebecca Culpepper Holley (Keith); four grandchildren, Hailey Holley, Austin Keith Holley (Alexa), Logan Culpepper Holley (Nicole) and Sarah Duncan Culpepper; four great-grandchildren, Joseph Michael Nevels, Holley James Nevels, Harrison Keith Holley and Catherine Ellis Holley.

    Graveside memorial services were held at Riverside Cemetery in Demopolis on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. George McKee officiating.
