On Tuesday, Codington County commissioners selected Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg, Minnesota to rebuild a parking lot at the county’s Extension Complex in Watertown. The bid process required entrants to provide a base bid and alternates for either a concrete/gravel base or a heavy cloth/gravel base. Watertown Police seek information on park vandalism
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Watertown Police want the public’s help in solving a vandalism incident at the waterfront in City Park. Police said on its Facebook post an individual shook a lamp post until the glass broke. About $3,000 in damage was caused. The incident happened at about 7:10 p.m. on June 7.

Burglary suspects arrested after Watertown pursuit
WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Two men suspected of crimes in Sioux Falls and Brookings were found in a stolen vehicle in Watertown on Saturday. According to the Codington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located a stolen Toyota Prius at a convenience store east of Watertown around 11:33 p.m. on June 1. When they attempted to make a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and a pursuit on Highway 212 was initiated.
