When it comes to real estate that is out of our price range, our favorite listings to window shop have to be the mid-century modern ones. That's because there's so much to love about this throwback design that features a lot of stylistic touches from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

And while we're really into a lot of the wood work and oh, those floor-to-ceiling windows, there's something extra special about the unique tilework that can usually be found in the bathroom.

That's exactly what folks will find in this Vallejo, California listing, which features a beautiful blue bathroom that is impossible not to love!

There's not much we like more than the natural light and features that come along with just about every MCM home we've seen, but this virtual tour from @mattpetullo really stands out because of the home's original tilework.

As you can see from the kitchen and the bathrooms, the designer really fell in love with the two-toned look when laying tile. The pink on red in the kitchen, the dark blue on light blue in the first bathroom, and of course the pink and gray in the second bath.

There's just something so unique about these tile designs, it's hard to believe that so many of us have spent our time painting over them in recent years!

If you love the look of these homes, you'll be thrilled to know that there's still a lot of them on the market that still have some of that throwback charm.

1955 Luxury MCM Home Has Been Updated With Vintage Vibes In Mind

Anytime we hear that an older style home has been updated we immediately start to worry that it means that it's lost all of the charm of its former style. And while there are a lot of choices that were made in this MCM home that we wouldn't have made ourselves, it looks like whoever updated it did so with at least a tiny bit of the home's past in mind.

You can see it most in the exterior of the home, that still bares the trademark shape of the style. And of course there are a few wood features left in the property that remind of us the traditional natural materials.

Mid-Century Homes Are Back In Style

We're not sure if it's popular movies and television shows, a yearning to return to a simpler time, or else just a surge of nostalgia for a time when you could buy a piece of furniture or appliance and have it last for more than three years, people everywhere are falling back in love with MCM style .
