Woman's Dirt Cheap Thrift Haul Is a Reminder to Stop Sleeping on Second Hand
By Lauren Wellbank,

You can't go a day without hearing about how inflation is raising prices on everything from necessities like groceries, to the nice-to-have items like those bi-annual haircuts. But, perhaps most surprising of all was the news that even thrift stores and secondhand shops had begun to raise their prices as they themselves delt with the rising costs of utilities and rent.
But, it seems like not every thrift store is now charging retail rates for the items on their shelves after one woman shared her recent thrifting haul. Wait until you see how much she was able to get for less than $20! We honestly didn't think we'd ever see another haul like this that wasn't hitting triple digits!
You can see from @shefoundthat's short video that she was making all the major finds while she was shopping her local thrift store recently. We saw picture frames, candle holders, even some pretty wall art among the items that she put into her shopping cart.
Even the things she didn't buy looked reasonably priced as well! Although we may never forgive her for not buying that mug and saucer set, we're really impressed by her ability to make so many great finds during a time when all we hear is how much money places like Goodwill are charging for gently (and sometimes not so gently) used items.
While there are still plenty of good things to be found — the absolutely insane panther table this woman found remains at the top of our list — we are very relieved to know that you don't have to pay a premium to take them home!
Jaguar Statue Looks Like New
While this fella sadly dropped a few hundred dollars to bring home his mid-century modern jaguar statue, it was money well spent. Just look at this stunning piece of decor, which remained in really good shape despite its age.
We're honestly really jealous of him and others like him who are still able to find so many great pieces of furniture that have stood the test of time. Take this woman for example, she discovered thousands of dollars worth of high-end furniture while shopping her local secondhand shop, and unfortunately she had to leave most of it behind.
While it would be a boon for anyone who did have room for it in their home (her reason on passing it up), it was still priced too high for most secondhand shoppers, proving our point about how rare the OP's deals actually were.
Thrift Stores Are Still Full of Deals
Despite that lady discovering that the furniture she uncovered was marked up to nearly $20,000, the OP has proven that there are still good bargains to be had, as long as you're out there looking.
