IKEA is a treasure trove for harried home owners who want to improve their home organization skills. Even as someone who's absolutely rotten about keeping things organized, investing in a few cheap and simple IKEA storage pieces like KALLAX cubbies and HOLMERUD shoe cabinets has genuinely helped me cut down on clutter around the house!

Even if you don't have the funds to spare for new furniture, though, you can still find tons of cheap IKEA finds that'll beef up your home organization game. Professional organizer Allison Weigensberg recently shared her favorite IKEA organizational finds for under $10 to help aspirational organizers get a head-start, no matter their budget limitations!

⚠️ You WILL need to do an Ikea run after watching this 😆 ⚠️ I wanted to show you some of my home organizing staples that *almost* always have on hand. When I go to someone’s house to get them organized you will likely find my trunk full of various bins and baskets and then we shop from my car as needed. LMK if you have any questions or if there are any of these organizing supplies you want to know more about 😊 #homeorganizing #getorganized #howtoorganize #ikeafinds #proorganizer #kitchenorganization

Allison ( @everythinginplace on TikTok) is a master when it comes to home organization hacks, and she knows that you don't have to spend tons of money on overpriced, single-purpose gadgetry to get your home in order. If you've got an IKEA store nearby and a few bucks to spare, you're in business!

    Bins and Boxes in Abundance

You can always count on IKEA to have an abundance of bins and storage containers for all your home de-cluttering needs. These kinds of items made up the bulk of Allison's haul, with her giving usage recommendations for each item.

For your basic, all-purpose storage needs, Allison recommends two product series. The UPPDATERA box is as basic as it gets. They have high plastic walls with handles, come in four colors (white, black, green, or pink), and cost $2.99-$3.99, depending on size. These are ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, offices - pretty much anywhere you could use a simple plastic box for storage. Allison also recommends picking up some stackable boxes from the KUGGIS storage series (prices range by size, but they're generally under $10 apiece). These have stackable lids and are great for office and closet organizing!

Speaking of closet organization, Allison gives another shout-out to the GLIS box ($6.99). These clear, compartmentalized boxes also come with stackable lids, and their small size and divided interiors make them perfect for storing jewelry, office supplies, small toys, and other small accessories!

Lastly, Allison recommends the colorful and charming RISATORP wire baskets for cute kitchen and pantry storage. This item might technically break the $10 budget limit for American buyers (while they were $9.99 at Allison's Montreal store, my store had them listed for $12.99). Still, with their ample storage size, eye-catching color options, and cute birch handles, these cottagecore kitchen baskets are worth the very minor splurge in my book!

    Specialty Organization Finds

If we're talking kitchen organization , we can't forget about the inside of your refrigerator! Allison loves IKEA 365 's dishware safe glass food containers with snap-on plastic lids ($9.99 and under) for snack packing, meal prep, sauces, and food storage in general. I can also personally vouch for these items, as I use them myself!

As an avid traveler with a passion for packing light , I also liked Allison's suggestion of using the SKUBB drawer organizers ($6.99 for a set of six) as packing cubes for luggage organization. These fold-out polyester drawer organizers come with zippers on the bottom and can fold flat when not in use!

Lastly, Allison recommends picking up some magazine files for storing manuals, papers, and other small books and magazines that otherwise clog up drawer space. In the video, she shows the KUGGIS magazine files, which cost $16.49 for a two-pack (so about $8.25 per). IKEA has a few other options if you want to go even cheaper, like the HÄSTVISKARE magazine files made from oak-patterned recyclable paper ($4.99 for a two-pack).

Forget about trendy, overpriced storage systems - easy home organization shouldn't break the bank. Allison's IKEA storage finds are perfect for a low-budget organization haul!
