Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) announced Wednesday, July 17, the start of construction on Sunrise Wind, an offshore wind farm about 30 miles off the coast of Montauk. The project is spearheaded by Ørsted, a global leader in renewable energy. Adina grew up in Boonville, NY, spending time with family at the local grass strip. And four generations of pilots — from her grandfather, father, and herself, to her son and his wife — have flown their family-owned Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer.
