Boston Public Schools Introduces Diverse Group of New Leaders for 2024-2025 Academic Year
The Boston Public Schools (BPS) is ushering in a wave of change in the administrative hallways as it welcomes a new cadre of educators to lead its schools for the 2024-2025 academic year, according to a recent announcement from the district. The reshuffling includes 13 fresh faces stepping into the role of school leaders, with 15 interim leaders being granted permanent positions, and four existing leaders slated to transition to new schools, bringing a wealth of diversity and experience into their respective classrooms and offices.
Brockton businesses adjust hours due to student disruptions
Several businesses in the vicinity of Brockton High School, like Starbucks, are temporarily amending their weekday operations due to disruptions caused by students. Reported incidents of rowdiness and minor property damage during school dismissal hours have led these establishments to cut back services during weekday afternoons. Starbucks plans to halt in-store operations between 1-3pm on school days, but will run its drive-thru service.
