The Federal Trade Commission says Mississippians lost tens of millions of dollars last year to scammers. The mother of a 4-year-old boy who was found dead in a lake behind the Vinton Welcome Center confesses to killing her son, KPLC has reported. Aaliyah Jack was arrested July 8 in Mississippi after her 4-year-old son was found dead in a lake at a welcome center and her other child, a 1-year-old, was found alive in a ditch off Interstate 10, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said.
