Austin, Texas (July 23, 2024) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $320,845,000 in multi-year Board Participation financing from the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT)* program to the Upper Trinity Regional Water District (Fannin, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Grayson, Hunt, and Wise counties). The District will use the assistance for the construction of a water supply project.
