UPDATE: DSP Cancel Gold Alert for Laurel Man
UPDATED 07/26/24: The Gold Alert issued on July 21, 2024, by Delaware State Police Troop 5 for Christopher Boyce has been canceled. He has been located. Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for a missing Laurel man. Police say 37 year old Christopher Boyce was last seen at his home around 10:15pm on July 18th. Attempts to contact or locate him have not been successful and there is concern for his safety.

Delaware State Police Investigating Shooting in Milton
Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Milton this morning. On July 22, 2024, at approximately 4:47 a.m., troopers responded to the 14000 block of Collins Street in Milton for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man that had been shot in the upper torso and began life-saving efforts. The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was living in a shed on the property when an unknown suspect fired several shots into the shed, hitting the victim.
