Bullard's Jacob Morris cards 69 at state

The Bullard Panthers, led by Jacob Morris’ 3-under 69, are tied for fifth after Monday’s first round of the Class 4A Boys UIL State Golf Tournament held on the Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.

The Panthers carded a 307 and are knotted with Bellville. Bridgeport is leading the tourney with a 291, followed by Livingston (294), Andrews (295) and Wimberley (301). Other area teams include: 7, Sulphur Springs, 308; and T9, Mabank, 318; Carthage, 318.
