Burton ISD bond project suffers additional setbacks

Editor’s note: Information on the budget changes for the Burton ISD bond project will be published in Sunday’s Banner-Press.

It was a one-two punch for the Burton ISD board of trustees and its patrons during the public hearing with DSA Construction Monday evening regarding the bond project. The community first learned of even more setbacks, including issues that led to the turf having to be pulled back up in some areas and more soil samples taken.
