Casa Galaviz, 508 S. Elm St., a beloved local Mexican restaurant, is currently closed due to an over $5,000 non-rent payment. A GoFundMe has been launched to save the restaurant that has been a part of Denton for more than 30 years. As of Monday evening, the GoFundMe had raised more than $1,000, a testament to the community’s love for this legacy restaurant.
