City approves contracts and agreements

Two resolutions between Brenham and the Texas Department of Transportation were approved by the city council during the regular session Thursday afternoon. They allow for closures during Hot Nights Cool Tunes concerts and approval of a municipal maintenance agreement for maintenance, control, regulation and supervision of state highways within the city limits.

Two professional service agreements also were approved with Strand Associates to begin upgrades at the surface water treatment plant and the Industrial Boulevard chlorine room.
