Denton jailer arrested after report of sexual misconduct

A civilian jailer for the Denton Police Department has been arrested after being accused of misconduct with a woman who was released from the jail, according to a news release.

Miguel Mederos, 22, of Pilot Point is charged with official oppression in relation to a January 2023 incident.
