Denton police recover 35 suspected fentanyl pills during man’s arrest

Denton police recovered 35 counterfeit pills that likely contain fentanyl when they arrested a 54-year-old man on a warrant Thursday, according to a police report.

Officers obtained a felony arrest warrant from a local judge on Tuesday charging the man with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram.
