A downtown Denton wedding venue representative reported Wednesday that someone broke in and vandalized the property, according to a police report. At about 6:16 p.m., officers took a report of a burglary at the Monroe Pearson, 421 E. Oak St.
Three Denton fast-food restaurants burglarized on Wednesday
Two Arby’s restaurants and a Popeyes in Denton were burglarized early Wednesday. A police report states that all three burglaries are related. At about 7:19 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Arby’s at 2313 Colorado Blvd. The caller said that when she arrived to work, the door was broken and the restaurant was trashed.

Denton County will be fogging for mosquitoes in unincorporated areas of the county this weekend after two traps tested positive for West Nile virus.
