No one injured as bullets strike occupied homes on Windsor Drive
Occupants were uninjured after bullets struck two occupied homes and other property on Windsor Drive early Thursday, Denton police report. At about 12:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shots-heard call in the 1300 block of East Windsor Drive. Multiple callers reported hearing gunshots in the area.
Denton’s Alamo Drafthouse reopening next month
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema now has a date set for its return to Denton — Tuesday, Aug. 20 — after the former franchisee went bankrupt and closed its North Texas theaters, followed by the announcement that Alamo would be back in DFW after the company was acquired by Sony.
