    Developer’s finalized plans for Hunter Ranch include 6,000 homes around the highest point in Denton

    North Texas real estate developer Hillwood announced that it has finalized plans for the Hunter Ranch property in southwestern Denton.

    Hillwood is planning a 3,200-acre residential and mixed-use development known as Landmark that will bring about 6,000 single-family homes to the area, anchored by a 300-acre entertainment and park district encompassing Pilot Knob and the surrounding hills.

    widen the roads first before you build. Developers should help pay for the roads to be widened. Florida does it, and it works great.The roads near this development are already overloaded with no plans to start widening until 2027 at the earliest. This includes 377, i35w, and 407.
