    Where good news shines

Denver's Monica Lieving secured her first World Long Drive win of the season Saturday.

She defeated Kelly Rudney at the World Long Drive (WLD) Endless Summer, the second major of the 2024 season, at Trillium Wood Golf Club in Belleville, Ontario.

Lieving’s longest drive of the event was her winning drive in the final at 335 yards, and she averaged 315 yards per drive. The longest drive of her career is 378 yards.

Earlier this month, Lieving finished as runner-up at WLD Rocky Mountains in LaSalle. She is ranked as the top women's long drive competitor.
