Wyndham Clark is going to the Olympics.

A Denver native and Valor Christian graduate, Clark joined Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa when the team was selected Monday based on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). Clark is No. 5 in the world.

Clark finished 56th at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst (N.C.) Resort on Sunday. This season he shows a win at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and runner-ups at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship. He finished third at the RBC Heritage.

Clark won the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club.

Scheffler is No. 1 in the OWGR, Schauffele No. 3 and Morikawa No. 7.

The 2024 Olympic Games golf tournament is Aug. 1-4 at Le Golf National outside of Paris.

Clark's international experience includes a spot on the 2023 Ryder Cup team.
