Chipotle to Bring Burritos and More to Nexton

A Mexican-inspired fast-casual franchise is set to expand with a new Nexton location.

The Post and Courier reports that Chipotle Mexican Grill recently submitted a permit application to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control for a 2,350-square-foot restaurant.

The new Chipotle would be located on an outparcel within the recently opened Harris Teeter-anchored shopping center at 1275 Nexton Pkwy .

Founded in Denver, Colorado in 1993, the eatery operates over 3,000 locations worldwide, including 40 in South Carolina alone.

Emphasizing “reliably real” ingredients, Chipotle offers a fast-casual dining experience with a focus on healthier options. The restaurant is known for its customizable bowls, tacos, and Mission burritos, prepared fresh in front of customers.
