    Medina Alert: Car wanted in deadly hit-and-run located

    DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Denver Police Department issued a Medina Alert Tuesday for a minivan wanted in a deadly hit-and-run.

    On Tuesday, Denver police said an alert was issued for a white Dodge Caravan . At about 4 p.m., the Colorado Bureau of Investigation canceled the alert, saying the vehicle had been found.

    According to police, the car and its driver were allegedly involved in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in the 1000 block of East Colfax Avenue on June 25 at 11:13 a.m. The area is in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

    The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said a woman was driving the minivan when she allegedly ran over a man who was pronounced dead. She then fled the scene.
