DENVER (KDVR) — If you are fast becoming a fan of drone shows, then Indy Eve was right up your alley on Wednesday night.

The downtown Denver show on the eve of Independence Day , produced by the Civic Center Conservancy and held for a decade, decided drones — instead of fireworks — were the skyline destination this year.

The drones formed into images like the Colorado state flag, the Rocky Mountains and the Statue of Liberty.

“Engaging with each other, engaging with all these small businesses, and then they have the show of a lifetime at the end,” said Eric Lazzari, executive director of the Civic Center Conservancy.

The show lasted about 15 minutes.

The pre-event featured a market, a light show and musical performances by the Colorado Symphony. Admission was free.
