There are actually quite a few fans of the Denver Broncos who don't know that part of the ownership group of the team is owned by the greatest F1 driver of all time, and one of the greatest motorsport drivers ever. It's not a common thing in America, as it is in every other country, but Lewis Hamilton is a pretty big public figure when it comes to how he is known around the world.

When the Walton-Penner ownership group bought into the Broncos after the sale went through, Hamilton also joined, as he was interested in investing and becoming part of an ownership group of a professional sports team.

The seven-time world champion was sought after, too, as the other owners thought his winning mindset would be helpful to have, and maybe he could help build the brand of the Broncos globally, as the britt's popularity is fairly big .

Now, there have been rumors that he is interested in other sports as an owner. On Thursday, as the media session of the weekend in Silverstone came, he addressed those rumors of him interested in a MotoGP team.

“I’ve always loved MotoGP,” Hamilton said at Silverstone to F1 media. “I am interested in the potential growth of the sport, but I haven’t looked that far into it yet. But anything is possible. I am definitely interested in equity. The Broncos were the first step into team ownership. Over the next five to 10 years there will, hopefully, be more. We’ll see where…”

Whatever Hamilton wants to put his mind to, he has always been great about. He has the mentality that makes him great, and if he does invest in a MotoGP team, they will likely be on an upward trend as soon as he becomes owner, much like the Denver Broncos now are.
