Mendocino Farms, a healthy cafe chain from California, is planting its first roots in Colorado soon, Denver Post reports. The brand has announced that it will be opening its first location in the Centennial State at 320 Fillmore St.

The new restaurant will occupy the remaining 3,000 square feet of open retail space at 320 Fillmore St., one of the neighborhood’s newest business complexes. It is a four-story property, developed by Chicago-based Midwest Property Group that also houses a women’s boutique and several office tenants.

An exact opening date has not been announced, and the company did not return quest for comment in time for publication. There are several dozen locations spread throughout California, Texas, and Washington.

Founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife duo Mario Del Pero and Ellen Chen, Mendocino Farms supports sustainable farming and high-quality, creatively crafted meals. Mendocino Farms has made a name for itself with a menu of unique, chef-driven sandwiches and salads.
