    This weekend in Denver: Explore tiny houses, taste unlimited tacos or see the Piano Man live at Coors Field.


    1. 🏡 Colorado Tiny House Festival

    Squeeze into a variety of tiny living spaces at the Colorado Tiny House Festival in Brighton.

    Why it matters: Colorado just passed legislation to make it easier to build accessory dwelling units (ADUs), which can include tiny homes on foundations.

    • Denver's City Council approved new standards for ADU construction last year.

    Zoom in: Attendees have the opportunity to tour small living structures, including tiny houses on wheels, container homes, yurts, skoolies, converted vans, RVs and ADUs.

    What to expect: Meet builders, sustainable living experts and DIYers and learn about the latest trends in tiny living.

    • There will also be speakers, a marketplace for products and services and a food truck court.

    When: 10am–4pm Saturday and Sunday

    Location: Riverdale Regional Park

    2. 🌮 Westword Tacolandia

    • Try unlimited samples from Denver-area taquerias at Civic Center Park 4–7pm Saturday. Tickets start at $45
    • What to expect: Endless tacos, lucha libre, a salsa class, ax throwing and performances.

    3. 🖼️ Colorado Black Arts Festival

    • Head to City Park West for three days of jazz, blues, soul, hip-hop and gospel music by local acts on multiple stages. There will also be art for sale, food, games and the Boogaloo Celebration Parade Saturday.
    • When: 11am–8pm Friday, 10am–8pm Saturday, 11am–7pm Sunday

    4. 🎹 Billy Joel

    • After five years, the Piano Man returns to Denver for a performance at Coors Field 8pm Friday. Tickets start at $84

    5. 🎵 PartyNextDoor

    6. 🥊 UFC Fight Night

    • Tracy Cortez (11-1-0) and Rose Namajunas (13-6-0) will headline an evening of MMA action 5pm Saturday at Ball Arena. Tickets start at $75

    7. 🎶 The Kid Laroi

    • The Australian artist's "First Time" tour will stop at the Fillmore Auditorium 6pm Saturday. Tickets start at $67
