Denver weather: More afternoon storms to end the week

DENVER (KDVR) — More showers and storms are in Denver’s weather forecast for the end of the week and into the weekend.

Weather tonight: Clearing, seasonal

Showers and thunderstorms will linger Thursday evening, ahead of clearing overnight. Low temperatures will stay seasonal and fall to around 60 degrees.

Weather tomorrow: Seasonal, afternoon storms

Friday will start off with sunshine, then the afternoon will bring increasing clouds as highs climb to around 90 degrees. These clouds will be ahead of another round of showers and storms.

Some storms in northeast Colorado could become strong to severe with strong wind gusts and hail as the main threats.

Looking ahead: Cooler weekend, more storms

The chance for scattered showers and storms will increase on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will stay below normal on both days reaching the mid-80s Saturday then only 80 degrees on Sunday.

Monday will look similar with scattered chances for showers and storms by the afternoon as highs climb to around 80 degrees.

Temperatures will climb to the mid-80s Tuesday afternoon alongside a few showers and storms. Then, warmer and drier weather moves in on Wednesday and Thursday.
