    Denver weather: Showers, thunderstorms and cooler temperatures this weekend

    DENVER (KDVR) — Wet and cooler conditions move into Denver’s weather forecast this weekend.

    Weather tonight: Clearing, seasonal

    Showers and thunderstorms will linger Friday evening, before clearing overnight. Temperatures will fall to the lower 60s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

    Weather tomorrow: Showers, cooler

    Saturday will start off with sunshine. Then, clouds will increase ahead of afternoon and evening showers and storms. Temperatures will only reach the mid-80s, which is about 5 degrees below average.

    Looking ahead: More thunderstorms, cool start to the week

    More showers and storms are in the forecast for Sunday. Temperatures on Sunday will only reach 80 degrees, which is about 10 degrees cooler than normal. Monday will be similar to Sunday, with a high near 80 and a chance for scattered showers and storms by the afternoon.

    Drier and warmer weather moves in for the rest of the workweek. High temperatures will be seasonal, and in the lower 90s Wednesday then mid-90s Thursday and Friday.
