Denver Weather: Cooler temperatures and scattered showers expected

Our Sunday is shaping up to be a partly to mostly cloudy day with scattered showers and storms moving through. Heavy showers are possible at times. Along with increasing clouds, we will also see smoke from wildfires burning in Canada move in. Northerly flow aloft will bring in that smoke to the upper levels of the atmosphere.
Temperatures will be much cooler as as well as abundant moisture for scattered showers and storms. Highs below average in the mid 70s. Showers end Sunday evening with clearing late and lows in the upper 50s
Monday, we'll be waking up to some sunshine although clouds will increase as we head through they day. Temperatures tomorrow will also be a little warmer with highs in the lower 80s and we have a 20% chance of afternoon showers and storms.
Midweek sunshine and warmer highs in the lower 90s. This warming trend continues into next weekend with relatively dry conditions for the end of the week and above average highs in the lower to middle 90s.
Storms return to the forecast by next Saturday.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler, with scattered showers , high 77; mostly cloudy overnight, low 56.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, with scattered afternoon storms, high 82; mostly cloudy overnight, low 56.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, with a slight chance for a storm, high 88; partly cloudy overnight, low 59.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonal, high 92; mostly clear overnight, low 61.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and warm, high 96; mostly clear overnight, low 63.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and hot, high 95; partly cloudy overnight, low 64.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny with a chance for showers, storms, high 94; partly cloudy overnight, low 64.
