DENVER (KDVR) – Showers and storms will dominate the forecast Sunday along with below-average temperatures. This is all before the area warms back up into the 90s and dries out by the middle and end of the week.

Weather today: Below average temps with rain

The morning will start off under partly cloudy skies, temperatures on your way out the door will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Temperatures will slowly but surely climb into the middle to upper 70s, which is about 10-15 degrees below average for this time of the year.

More rain and thunderstorms are on the way Sunday as well, mainly in the afternoon hours.
