Denver weather: Another day of smoke and haze

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Wildfire smoke from out of state will continue to impact Colorado on Tuesday, especially along Interstate 25 and into the plains as highs reach the low 90s in the Denver weather forecast.

Denver will see mainly sunny skies on Tuesday that will look hazy as out-of-state wildfire smoke continues to push through.

Winds will mostly be light through the afternoon as highs reach the low 90s.

Air quality alerts are in effect until 4 p.m. with high levels of ground ozone and fine particulates from the smoke, making it difficult for those with respiratory issues.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Skies stay smoky Tuesday night with a lack of cloud cover and light winds. Overnight lows will be comfortable as they dip into the lower 60s.

Looking ahead: Staying warm and dry

Wednesday will be smoky, as well, with sunny skies and hotter highs in the middle 90s.

Thursday also has mainly sunny skies with less smoke in the air and highs in the upper 90s.

Friday rounds out the workweek with a few afternoon clouds, chances for some late-day storms and hot highs in the middle 90s.

Saturday is partly cloudy with chances for afternoon storms as highs hit the lower 90s.

Sunday is back to mainly sunny skies with highs in the middle 90s.

Monday kicks off the next workweek with plenty of sunshine and highs in the middle 90s.
