Denver weather: Chance for showers to end the workweek

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather pattern will stay warm with highs in the 90s as smoke clears out and a chance for showers and thunderstorms moves in.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy

Thursday night will stay partly cloudy with a few areas of smoke. Temperatures will fall to the mid-60s, which is 5 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon rain and storm chances

Friday will start dry followed by the chance for showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the low to mid-90s.

Looking ahead: Weekend showers, warming up again

Saturday will bring another chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be a little warmer than normal and climb to the lower 90s.

Hot and sunny weather returns for Sunday and into the workweek. High temperatures return to the low to upper 90s.

High temperatures will climb to the upper 90s then shy of 100 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday.
