There was a scary scene at Denver Broncos training camp practice Wednesday.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported the Broncos stopped practice when offensive tackle Quinn Bailey suffered an injury. Team trainers placed an aircast on his leg and moved Bailey into an ambulance.

Practice didn't immediately resume when Bailey exited. 92.5 FM Denver Altitude's Sports' Joshua Owen tweeted that the Broncos offensive line gathered in a circle and prayed for Bailey before getting back to football.

"Broncos O-Line gathering and praying for Quinn Bailey after he went down with a leg injury," wrote Owen . "Bailey was carted directly into an ambulance from the field."

Bailey dressed in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos last season. He started one of those games.

Breer wrote Bailey was "presumably" taken to the hospital.

Although Bailey started one game, he never played more than 11 snaps on offense in a game last season. He made his one start during 2023 as an inline tight end.

Over the entire 2023 campaign, Bailey played 76 offensive snaps, 70 of which he appeared on the field as an extra offensive tackle.

He also played 67 snaps on special teams.

Bailey's only other NFL start came during the 2022 season. He has spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Broncos. Denver signed Bailey as an undrafted free agent in 2019.
