DENVER (KDVR) — Wildfire smoke and more above-normal temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast. An increasing chance for showers will arrive by next week.
Weather tonight: Hazy sky
Thursday night will stay dry and mostly clear, but hazy skies will remain from wildfire smoke .
High temperatures will climb to the mid-90s ahead of a chance for a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Looking ahead: Hot weekend before rain chances rise
Saturday will stay mainly sunny with high temperatures climbing to the mid-90s. Temperatures will climb to the upper 90s on Sunday before chances for a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Monday will look similar to Sunday with morning sunshine, a high in the mid-90s and the chance for a few showers and storms.
The chance for showers and storms will increase by the middle of the workweek. This will bring relief from fire concerns and aid in dropping temperatures from the 90s down to the mid-80s by Thursday.
