N.Y. weather: Organized showers, thunderstorms headed to NYC
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Islanders can expect to see scattered thunderstorms in the forecast for the next few days before the sun comes out for the weekend. National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologist Bill Goodman said the radar indicates Staten Island should be in the clear until later Monday, as most of the storms are currently north, near Bergen and Rochester counties.

The BCANY Summer Hoops Festival is a three-day event that runs from July 26-28 at Johnson City Schools in Johnson City, just west of Binghamton. Fluoride Treatments On Track to Return to Buffalo Water

Recently, a diver went into the river near the Colonel Ward Pumping Station to begin the process of preparing the city’s water system to once again be fluoridated. The diver completed a disinfection process and installed a flow meter into a 90” treated water conduit, which will “measure the treated water flow rates and help determine the proper amount of added fluoride during treatment,” the city said.
