When the Savannah Bananas announced they were coming to Des Moines in 2023, tickets to their two games at Principal Park quickly became some of the hottest items in town. The interest was high enough that the two games quickly sold out.
Fans' excitement has only grown.

The Bananas will play at Principal Park on Sept. 6-8.
The Bananas will play their rivals, the Party Animals, for three straight games. Two of the contests, Sept. 6-7, will be played at 7 p.m. The Sept. 8 game will take place at 1 p.m.
If you want to see the games but haven't purchased tickets yet, you'll have to try the secondary market. You can purchase tickets here for Friday , Saturday and Sunday .
The wildly popular team is famous for its choreographed dances, crazy rules and on-field antics.
Some of the shenanigans include lighting a bat on fire and having a baseball dropped onto the field by a drone. Celebrities also have taken part of some of their games, including former Major League Baseball star Jake Peavy, who pitched a game using his Gold Glove.
Banana Ball rules include no stepping out of the batter's box, two-hour time limits for games, and outs if fans catch a foul ball.
