    Jacksonville Man Sentenced to Over 8 Years for Meth Distribution

    Jacksonville, Florida – U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard sentenced 47-year-old Sule Pedro of Jacksonville to eight years and four months in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. Pedro pleaded guilty on April 13, 2023.

    According to court documents, Pedro was a known drug trafficker selling methamphetamine and fentanyl from a carwash in Jacksonville. Between January and August 2022, he sold about 230 grams of methamphetamine and 23 grams of fentanyl to a cooperating defendant. On September 27, 2022, law enforcement executed a search warrant at the carwash.

    They recovered two firearms, 325 grams of methamphetamine, 57 grams of fentanyl, 268 grams of alpha-PVP (also known as “flakka”), hydrocodone pills, and other narcotics.
