Are you craving some fall-off-the-bone tender short ribs? This slow cooker recipe will have your taste buds dancing.

Here's a simple yet delicious recipe to satisfy your carnivorous desires:Ingredients:

    • 2.5 to 3 pounds of beef short ribs
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the short ribs generously with salt and pepper. Brown the short ribs on all sides in the hot oil, then transfer them to the slow cooker.
    2. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until they become fragrant and slightly caramelized. Pour in the beef broth and red wine, if using, and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any flavorful bits. Add the tomato paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Stir everything together until well combined.
    3. Pour the mixture over the short ribs in the slow cooker, making sure they are evenly coated.
    4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone.
    5. Once the short ribs are cooked, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and transfer to a serving dish. Skim off any excess fat from the cooking liquid. If you desire a thicker sauce, you can strain the liquid and reduce it in a saucepan over medium heat until desired consistency is reached.
    6. Serve the short ribs with the rich, flavorful sauce poured over the top. They pair wonderfully with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a bed of fluffy rice.

    Enjoy!
