HARRISBURG – Carla Brown, 45, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 30 months in prison on May 31, 2024, following her conviction for conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. U.S. District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner handed down the sentence.

The charges against Brown originated from a traffic stop conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police on May 14, 2020, in Lebanon County. Brown was a passenger in the vehicle, which was found to contain approximately 350 grams of cocaine and $5,020 in cash.

The vehicle's driver, William Shaw, was also convicted of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and received a 60-month prison sentence. U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam announced the sentences following the investigation and convictions.
