Tampa, FL – U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday has sentenced 38-year-old Christian Perez-Seda of Tampa to 24 years and 4 months in federal prison for distributing and possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Perez-Seda pleaded guilty to the charges in March 2024.

Court documents reveal that on July 24, 2021, Perez-Seda sold 987 grams of methamphetamine to an undercover officer for $7,000. Additionally, he "fronted" approximately 1 kilogram of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

Later that day, as Perez-Seda was on his way to sell more methamphetamine to the undercover officer, law enforcement stopped his vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 2 kilograms of methamphetamine, $3,686 in cash, and a Phoenix Arms .22 pistol.
