    Coney Island, one of the most iconic places in New York City, is preparing to reopen its doors, starting this Friday, April 9, after having been closed for 18 months, between October 2019 and the Coronavirus pandemic.

    Cuomo said arcades and other indoor family entertainment centers can open at 25% capacity beginning March 26. Outdoor amusement parks can open to a third of their normal capacity before April 9, while day and night camps can start planning to reopen this summer.
