    Local youth baseball team wins national tournament

    DESTIN, Florida (WKBN) – The Ohio Glaciers 10U Travel Baseball Team won the Perfect Game Gulf Coast World Series Championship.

    The tournament, which included some of the best 10U teams in the United States, took place from June 25-28 in Destin, Florida.

    The Glaciers went 8-1, including four straight wins, facing off with opposing teams from a tournament field from Buckhead, GA; Lake Charles, LA; Jackson, TN; Katy, TX; Huntsville, AL; Houston, TX & Ponte Verde, FL.

    The Glaciers finished the season with a record of 46-4-1.
