The Baltimore Ravens Will Trade Mark Andrews to the Indianapolis Colts
Now, you may be asking why the Ravens would trade away their top receiver. Allow me to explain. Andrews is 28 and under contract for just the next two seasons. The Ravens currently have negative cap space projected for 2025 and need to get above the cap. While Andrews has been the go-to, he would help free up $11 million and the Ravens have a valuable backup option in Isaiah Likely who can fill the void. Especially if the Ravens take a decline this season, they need to get the draft capital to move up and get a true number one receiver in the draft.
Ravens honored Jacoby Jones during Saturday's training camp practice
The Ravens practiced with heavy hearts on Saturday as former NFL wide receiver Jacoby Jones was laid to rest in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Jones passed away on July 14, and the Baltimore Ravens honored the Super Bowl hero by having staff members wear bandanas with Jacoby Jones’ No. 12 and kids receive wristbands with his number.

Updating Mateo injury and Orioles' rotation
Jorge Mateo has his left elbow in a brace and no further updates on his health. Mateo suffered a transient dislocation Tuesday in a collision with shortstop Gunnar Henderson during a 6-3 loss to the Marlins. He needs to undergo further testing but the Orioles are waiting for the swelling to go down.

Jordan Westburg and Ryan Mountcastle are on the bench this afternoon and Connor Norby is at second base, as the Orioles continue their series against the Padres. Colton Cowser is in left field and Heston Kjerstad is the designated hitter. Adley Rutschman is catching. He’s 8-for-64 (.125) this month.
Ravens WR Rashod Bateman says his foot is healed and he's fully healthy
The Baltimore Ravens will rely heavily on wide receiver Rashod Bateman during the 2024 season. The fourth-year wideout will take over as the team’s unquestioned No. 2 receiver, which means Baltimore is putting immense trust in him to produce at a high level. One reason Bateman’s career has gotten...
Analyzing Blake Snell as a fit for the Orioles
The Orioles' starting rotation has been decimated by injuries, as Tyler Wells, Kyle Bradish, and John Means are all out for the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. They have Corbin Burnes at the top of the rotation, but the rest of the bunch leaves a lot to be desired as the trade deadline draws nearer.
Another frustrating night in Birdland, plus more on the trades
We have seen the Orioles go 20-9 this year versus the American League East. We have seen them produce nine straight winning months, the longest current active streak in the majors. Since the start of 2023, Baltimore is 162-102 (.614), and that is the best win percentage in the majors in that span.

CRAB's First River Days Festival
Annapolis, MD - On Saturday, July 20th, Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) was one of three select sites to host the Anne Arundel County River Days Festival. The event was held in collaboration with Annapolis Sailing School and The Annapolis Maritime Museum. There are several other River Days planned by the county, but this was the only one with fully accessible water facilities and boats. The Naptown Brass Band performed at the event, and attendees enjoyed the food and beverages courtesy of Anne Arundel County Fire Department. During the event, CRAB took four groups out on Dream Catcher, and many others had the chance to learn to skipper the radio-controlled sailboats. The parents with children were very happy to see the CRAB ABC and everything it offers to the disabled community. When one of the little girls was asked if the power boat ride was one or two thumbs up? She responded enthusiastically, "It was 10 thumbs up!" That is what we like to hear!
